Hey there. I'm so happy to be meeting you in this space.
I'm Charlie. Currently, I live in Santa Fe, NM where I am a wellness coach, lover of sunshine, reader, meditator, dog-lover, and plant-based/health-supportive chef. Wellness has not always come easy for me - I was born into trauma - I was not taught to care for myself - The world at many times seemed very unkind... but it was through these storms that I was able to learn how to navigate "the ship" and discover how much control I actually have over my own experience. For me, the mental journey has been far more difficult and impactful than the physical journey (although they are not separate). Being in my body was one of my greatest challenges. For years I explored different angles of humanity's "dysfunctions" through my own lens of curiosity and learned to understand impermanence on a deep and profound level. I was attached to ideas, perspectives, and beliefs that were only true because I allowed them to be true and projected them onto the outer world. Until I learned that I could work with my mind, I did not know that I could change the way I experienced this life. Curiosity and compassion have been my greatest guides to opening my heart and dropping the weight of the things that did not serve me.

The coaching programs I offer were created to help women over 40 who want to thrive in the second half of their lives. My approach supports healing by creating action steps that aid in enhancing compassion, curiosity, and self-love. These are not therapy programs. I am not a therapist. In our initial call we can address any questions you may have about coaching vs therapy.
On a more formal note... My wellness coach training involved certifications in 2 different coaching modalities... one focused on integrative nutrition, the other emphasized mindfulness & spirituality. For the last decade, I have been working as a mentor and plant-based chef for individuals, events, and (very dear to me) retreats. In December 2022, completed an M.S. in Mind-Body Medicine from Saybrook University. I move into the Ph.D. program in 2023 and continue to explore the emotion’s research. I am also trained in health support/plant-based cooking w/ an emphasis on Ayurveda, Macrobiotic, and Raw/Living Foods.

I started Nourisher Wellness to support the lives of women who want to deepen their understanding of the world, drop their stories (which keep you in the past), explore their personal mythology and limiting beliefs, open their hearts, and embrace each moment. The work we do here is not easy, but it is invaluable and the benefits will carry with you for the rest of your life!

I look forward to working with you.
